helsinki (running gopher.floodgap.com) has had a run of bad luck; it seems to
be suffering from a funky power supply and crashed twice in two days. A
replacement is currently installed; cross your fingers.

Also, an internal purge is in progress to create a live and train v2 database
to allow less interference from database adds to impact query performance,
as well as to rip out recognized dud selectors. This will slow access times
to V-2 until the purge finishes (probably at least a day or two).
