Through an intelligent Proxy (or directly with Unix Gopher Clients for that matter), Ports make little difference.  
   
  Its only when you direct connect though a Non-Unix Browser or most Non-Unix Gopher Clients that Port 70 becomes an issue; and then its an issue only becasue the software programmers made it a problem <grimace>.
