Aucbvax.2715 fa.unix-wizards utzoo!decvax!ucbvax!unix-wizards Tue Aug 18 01:43:49 1981 Random Interrupts >From romine@SDAC-Unix Mon Aug 17 22:35:23 1981 We've been getting the message "Random Interrupt Ignored" coming out on our console for some time now. The comments in the kernel code indicate that the cause of this is a trap through location zero and is symptomatic of a hardware problem. Our hardware people have been unable to find anything wrong with the gear. The problem seems to be aggrivated by tape usage. Have you heard of anyone else with this kind of problem that I might be able to contact for some info on what to do about it? Thanks for any info you can give.
