I happen to be Jewish (**VERY** Reformed) and Polish and damn proud of it. THAT's why I never get upset at jokes made about Jews and/or Poles, as long as they are made with no predujice intent in mind; if they were meant to be funny and to entertain, then it's perfectly alright. There are some punchlines that rely on the victim being a member of a certain ethnic group (e.g. Martians don't tip??) However, if a person makes a joke like that in order to be predujice, then I want no part of it; how do you tell the intent of a joke? I don't know if it's possible in this sort of environment, but I have not run across any people like that so far.
