To clear up any misconception, fa.space is not just a digestified net.space (as some people commented). fa.space := digest((net.space) + (ARPA space)) !! I am not sure how net.columbia gets into the picture. Maybe it too has been fed into that magic ARPA digest from which fa.space comes. That makes the equation: fa.space := digest((net.space) + (net.columbia) + (ARPA space)) I, for one, like seeing what EVERYONE has to say on space-related issues -- including people on the ARPA net (even though I can't mail directly to them!). I vote to at least keep fa.space and the mechanism that allows me to submit to it (although I have not taken advantage of that connection yet). If anyone out there voted for net.space only because you thought that fa.space := digest( net.space ), please make yourself known. Mark (or whoever), if I'm wrong on my assumptions, please help clear this up for me, o.k.? And, don't take any action until everyone has had a second chance to vote. Randal L.
