The gopherd in CVS at complete.org (CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@pi.complete.org:/var/cvs) *is* UMN gopherd. The UMN just stands for the University of Minnesota who were the original authors of the program before maintenance changed hands. CVS is only the revisioning system used to edit the code.
