> Ok, I'm building a gopher server and I'm just starting to understand link
> files and the like.
>
> How do I add a description to the root directory of my site like the one at
> gopherproject.org? IE: how is the text:

Create a menu item with an itemtype of 'i'. This is just displayed, and not
made a menu item (except in Internet Explorer which bollixes this up). In
Bucktooth, just don't have any tabs in that line, and it will display it
as itemtype i; in UMN gopher and others, make the type i in the menu file
and the display string is your text.
