The V-2 database replication and purge finished successfully, threw out about 10% deadwood, and the index was also rebuilt nicely. Performance is quite a bit better with the cruft-free index. Now if I could only get NetBSD/macppc to drive the Promise controller in full ATA/133 mode ...! >:(
