WOW! Reading of people willing to extend/repair modern browsers' Gopher support is comforting (this isn't such a bad world, after all).

w3m does not handle gopher:

I don't have "links" installed at the moment, will try that later. However, I expect it not to support gopher, I read the following in http://links.sourceforge.net/#what
