>>
>> Yo. :)
>>
>> Since we're being inane, just a heads-up that helsinki
>> (gopher.floodgap.com)
>> will have a scheduled outage for a system upgrade in the Near Future,
>> probably
>> at the end of this month. Shouldn't be more than 12 hours or so.
>
> Upgrades are great. I discovered I had some old 40GB hard drive
> laying about (during a search for an even older 8GB hard drive). I
> think I'm going to move quux.org to it and see what I can find to fill
> it up with :-)

So, pardon my ignorance, but are helsinki and quux.org hosted from
home? I've got goiaba.net hosted on a VPS right now, and I've
seriously been considering migrating it to my house. This would be
tricky, because I'm on cable and have a dynamic IP, but I wouldn't mind
upgrading to a business account either. Its only about $50/mo (which
is close to what I'm paying now if you add the cost of the VPS with my
current cable service).

I need to get more content on goiaba.net, but I simply can't think of
any ideas. The whole idea of setting up the server was to help
preserve the protocol, but its difficult to find content. Perhaps I'll
just host some of my haikus or old technical information there. :)
