Well, you caught an oversight on my part. The server IP changed, and I
updated quux.org, but didn't update gopherproject.org. That link should
now work. If it doesn't, it will as soon as your DNS cache
expires.

FWIW, you can specify an alternative link on the command line.

> Hello,
>
> I use gopher via SSH as an example of what the Web used to be in an
> "Intro to Internet" class. I have a linux box with a gopher client
> installed that students access via SSH. Their "shell" is the gopher
> client, so students type username and password and are entered into
> gopherspace. However, the client is somehow hardwired to connect to
> gopherproject.org:70 but can't get there. Students are prompted to
> press any key, the SSH session closes, they are dumped out.
>
> My question is: what configuration file do I alter, and in what way,
> to make this gopher client open some other server by default.
>
> Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
