I can't telnet to my machine. When I try from bash:

telnet
open localhost 70

All I get is 'server refused connection' from windows telnet and 'connection
timed out' from linux telnet.

How do I generate a process list? Do I type in 'ps'?

>> I added it and restarted cygwin but all I get is the 'page not found'
>> page
>> in my web browser.
>
> What happens when you telnet to port 70 on that machine? Is inetd/xinetd
> running? Do you see them when you generate a process list?
>
> I think I might need to get Windows running on Virtual PC and see if I can
> do it too.
